Happy New Year!

I can’t believe this is year 6 of my author’s journey! Yes, I was a late bloomer. I never viewed myself as good enough to write for a reader’s enjoyment. But I loved to write! The only things standing in my way were proper writing skills (Workshops and classes helped me navigate that hurdle) and faith in my ability. Now I am finally doing what I truly love, and I can’t help but feel blessed that I can do this well into my elderly years!

What is truly remarkable is the year I experienced during 2023. Not only did I decide to jump genres and dabble in a fictional paranormal mystery, but I released that book with much success.

The Attachment, An Eliza Grey Mystery, not only received rave reviews but also has established a fan base that can’t wait for the second book! Now, that’s the inspiration to keep on writing.

The events of 2023 were nothing short of amazing. I was able to overcome my stage fright and face down my fear of public speaking and being on television/podcast channels. I was a guest on the podcasts Healing Voices Project and yWrite as well as a keynote speaker for Springfield College discussing the threads of our lives.

My book launch events for The Attachment were incredible! Re-Inspired, Coopers Gifts and Casa Di Lisa made each event special and fun.

Then there was the Big E booth in the Rhode Island Building! What a day! What an experience! The Association of Rhode Island Authors is an awesome group of authors that facilitates events and supports authors from Rhode Island and Massachusetts.

Each book signing, I experienced throughout the year brought me to yet another group of readers.

And finally, I was a guest at a book club held at a very popular restaurant, The Main Street Deli. There I met a group of women who engaged in lively discussion regarding the book Threads.

All these events helped shape me into a better author and marketer. It was an extraordinary year.

Now onto 2024 and the next in the series of The Eliza Grey Mysteries!

Happy reading!

October 7, 2023

The Attachment has released and it has been well received! It has exceeded my expectations, and I am grateful to all those to purchased the print and eBook formats! This has been such a fabulous experience and I am pinching myself on how been exciting the launch has been. Ihave some exciting events to announce in the coming days, but for now I will bask in the glow of a book launch for the record books. Thank you to all those who follow and support my author’s journey!

Happy Pub Day to The Attachment!

October 2, 2023

The Attachment is just days away from release! It has been two years of writing, re-writing, editing, and proofing to create this fictional town and characters. When I am deep into the writing and editing process, I actually enter into the world of Coventry-by-the-Sea. The town, Rosecliff Manor, Murphy’s Bakery, and Highgate Cemetery are all real to me while I am creating the story. The characters are no longer fictitious but have personalities, movement, joy, and pain.

In other words, I put my heart and soul into every chapter. I lost count of the number of hours spent on The Attachment, but I can tell you the days were long and weekends off were not an option. Each day started at five a.m. and would continue into the evening. I loved every minute. It fed my soul. I can’t wait to keep writing about Eliza Grey and Coventry-by-the-Sea.

The Attachment is my first venture as a writer delving into the world of fiction writing. It was a lot harder than I ever imagined, and yet, the challenge was worth it.

I hope those who decide to purchase the book enjoy every moment of the read and feel transported into another time and place.

The Attachment will be available for sale on October 7th through Amazon.com

Presale is available for eBook only.

Happy Reading!!

Another announcement I would like to share is the completion of my fourth book, a fiction. I have stepped away from the memoir and non-fiction genres and entered into the world of supernatural mystery. This book, the title to be announced shortly, is a labor of love. It is set in a seaside community where two mysteries are about to unfold. One is in the present day, and the other is a mysterious death from the early 1800s. If you like mystery, history, and ghosts, then this book will be a must-read for you. The release date is set for late summer 2023! More news to follow!

I have some exciting news to share with you!

On March 31st, I entered the world of Podcasts. Although it was a new experience that completely terrified me, it is another step in my Threads journey. The end result was an inspiring and thought-provoking conversation with my host and fellow author, Michael Tourville.

My guest appearance was on the Healing Voices Project Podcast. Healing Voice Project is a podcast that shares perspectives and stories of courage that help families through addiction, grief, and recovery. My interview stemmed from my Threads Series and how these books could be a tool in the healing process. It was a fantastic experience—the scheduled release date with be April 15th. I will share more through my Facebook and Instagram business pages.

On April 26th, I will be a guest on another podcast called Ywrite. It is a podcast that shares perspectives and encouragement on why we write and the avenues to publish written works. The release date is TBA.

On April 29th, I will attend an Author's Expo in Lakeville, MA. This event allows me to share my experience with 40 other incredible authors. It is free admission and open to the public. Books are available for purchase and personalization.

On May 17th, A local and beloved restaurant, the 141 Main Street Deli, in Agawam, MA, will be hosting a book club open to the public, and their book of choice for May is Threads. I have been invited to be a guest speaker and look forward to meeting the book club members that night. Light refreshments will be served.
It will start at 6 PM.

Springtime is alive with budding trees and flowers, and I am excited to participate in all these new experiences!

Happy Spring!

I can’t believe the Fall has arrived, and the cool temperatures are here to stay! I love the beauty of this season, rich with autumnal colors of red, yellow, and orange. I embrace the smell of the crisp fall air and the softness of my favorite fleece hoodie. But there is a part of me, as an avid gardener, who mourns the end of summer.

That being said, I am always grateful for the ramp-up of events that come this time of year. Summer slows down; the days are lazy and chill, but then Fall comes out of the gate like a racehorse!

The event on 9/24 at the Southwick Artist and Craft fair was phenomenal! Not only did I sell books like never before, but I met a new demographic of fabulous readers. It was a true treat, and I am grateful for the connections I made with fellow authors at the Meet and Greet and the readers who purchased my books.

Also, my books were showcased at the BIG E in West Springfield, MA, through the store, Re-Inspired. I had the opportunity to visit the booth this past weekend and see them beautifully displayed. The news was awesome! They did fabulously, and the foot traffic was a wide variety of readers. I am so happy and grateful for this chance for my books to get a broader reach in the New England area.

Now onto the next venue, Outside the Box in Ludlow, MA. October 5th at 5:30, I will be the guest of honor for an evening meet the author event! I will fill you all in after it is over.

March 4, 2022

It’s been almost 6 months since I have written on my website blog! How can that be? Time just flew!

What have I been up to these past few months?

In December I completed the audiobook version of Spirit Threads with Kelly Hawkins as narrator. She is the voice of my Threads series and has done an amazing job at bringing my stories to life. It was truly a labor of love and an opportunity to breathe new life into my books.

In recent weeks, I have completed my fourth book! I have ventured into a new genre! I can’t wait to share the details with everyone. The storyline has evolved to such a level, that it has surprised even me on the twists and turns of the direction of the plotline.! Change can be scary. I have written three inspirational books that I am very proud of, but feel this story deserves to be told.

A supernatural thriller! Who knew?

I look forward to sharing more about the story and release of my new book in the near future!

Until then, enjoy the last few weeks of winter, for Spring, is on its way!

September 5, 2021

I am so excited to announce the release of the audiobook version of Threads as of September 2, 2021!

It has been a fantastic journey and collaboration.  The narrator, Kelly Hawkins, does a fabulous job of taking the stories and lessons of each chapter and bringing them to life.  It has surpassed my wildest dreams!

It is currently available on Audible, Itunes, and Amazon!

My goal is to get the audiobook of Threads into the top 100 for its category or new releases for Audible.  Would you help me do it?

If you are looking for an inspirational audiobook, please consider adding Threads to your list.  The storyline and moving life stories are perfect for those long walks, workouts at the gym, or long commute times.

Thank you so much for your support!

AUGUST 24, 2021

THREADS WILL BE AVAILABLE IN AUDIOBOOK THIS SEPTEMBER!

September is just around the corner and with the ebbing of summer on the horizon, we silently prepare for the changing of the season. Thoughts of pumpkin spice and pulling out our favorite Fall hoodie emerges within our minds.

During our summer respites, we have moments of reading a good book on a blanket under a beach umbrella or in a favorite chair beneath a large shady tree. Quiet moments spent in nature.

September, however, brings us back into the hustle and bustle of the world. Schools reopen, busy sports schedules fill our days, and we are thrust into the scheduled parts of life.

Self-reflection and mindfulness are even more important during this time.

How could you bring a sense of freshness and vitality to your day?

How about a good audiobook? One that could enliven your senses while you walk or give you moments of clarity and peace while you commute to work.

Threads will be available in audiobook on Amazon.com, ITUNES, and Audible in just a few short weeks!

The narrator, Kelly Hawkins, has done a masterful job of reading Threads as she brings the pages to life. She is officially the voice of Threads!

Date To Be Announced.

MARCH 25, 2021 NEW BOOK IN THE WORKS

I am very excited to share with my readers that I am currently writing a new book!  It is a completely different genre than my previous two books.

A Supernatural Thriller that spans between two time periods!  The heroine of the story has mediumistic powers and becomes a conduit for the spirit of a woman from the 1780s.  The ghost slowly begins to possess the main character in hopes that the truth of her untimely death will be exposed.  Was it suicide?  That is what the town records indicate.  Or was it murder?

This manuscript has been an interesting journey with an idea that sprang from a visit to a very old graveyard in Plymouth, MA.  It has required a great amount of research with regards to the time period of the storyline, but I have learned so much in writing this book.

The heroine has an interesting sidekick in her discovery of the ghost and my hope is to make it a thriller series.

We will see where this all takes me, but for now, this storyline keeps flowing from my fingertips in interesting ways as if a spirit has been directing me as well.

TBA TITLE AND RELEASE

March 24, 2021

“We look at life from the backside of the tapestry.  And most of the time. what we see is the loose threads, tangled knots, and the like.  But occasionally, God’s light shines through the tapestry, and we get a glimpse of the larger design with God weaving together the darks and lights of existence.” ~ John Piper

I chose this quote in both my book, Spirit Threads, and my journal, Weaving Threads of Gratitude because it has profound meaning to me.

Through all the ups and downs navigated through this thing called life, we have a habit of focusing on the smaller design. We can at times get lost within the ruts and challenges of life and miss the larger picture of our tapestry.  Looking beyond the tangled mess of threads and allowing God’s light to shine through, we obtain a deeper view of our life’s purpose. Recognition of this gift can lead us to understand the importance of our worth.

What if we took the time to look at our life in its entirety and examine its purpose? Reviewing the successes and failures we have experienced or what talents and short-comings we possess.

What do you think you would find? Where would you see the inspiration in your life?

Is it in a career, family life, material goals, or in a status?

When we examine these areas of our existence in the larger picture, we get a sense of what drives us and what defines a successful life.  It can also inspire us to push ourselves in places we were always meant to go.

December 30, 2021

As the end of 2020 approaches and the birth of 2021 emerges, collectively humanity prepares for a clean slate.  We believe with the click of the clock at midnight that we are new again. Goal-setting becomes our priority.

We begin the process of setting achievable goals such as successful ways to boost our careers, improve our health, fatten our bank accounts.

In opting to blog about effective goal setting I was called to share something different, something more introspective.  I chose a chapter from my recent publication, ‘Weaving Threads of Gratitude Journal’, which reflects more on how we look within ourselves to see the bigger picture of our lives.

“We look at life from the backside of the tapestry.  And most of the time, what we see is the loose threads, tangled knots, and the like.  But occasionally, God’s light shines through the tapestry, and we get a glimpse of the larger design with God weaving together the darks and lights of existence.” ~ John Piper

“Being able to obtain a deeper glimpse into your life and visualize the bigger picture is a gift.  While going through a challenging year with the health of my youngest daughter, I became acutely aware of the profound magnitude of what had occurred during that time.  Upon deep self-reflection, I witnessed how intense my faith had become.  An acceptance emerged into my being and allowed me to see the grand picture.  From the start of that tumultuous year, until the end of it nothing had change health-wise, but what had changed was my acceptance, courage, and faith.  When the larger design emerged, and I looked beyond the tangled mess of threads, what I saw was the trust in my higher power and conviction in my soul.

We can, at times get lost within the rut of life and miss many of the amazing things around us.  Embracing God and allowing his love to touch us, we begin to see the bigger picture. We are but a small and beautiful part of the grand design, and in recognizing that, we know the importance of our worth.”  ~Judith Cosby

May you experience an blessed and safe 2021!

September 4, 2020

It has been an exciting month! My third publication, Weaving Threads of Gratitude Journal, was released on August 18th and hit the ground running! Creating a gratitude journal and giving it a different twist was a challenge, but it truly paid off. I am so proud of this publication and am pleased to end the Threads trilogy with this work. Weaving Threads of Gratitude is a 52 week journal that encourages self-reflection and spiritual awakening. The illustrations are just beautiful and really bring the journal to life.

The year 2020 has been filled with so much turmoil and anxiety. It has also been a year where we have been forced to find value and joy in our lives in a very different way. What better time to invest in a journal than now? A tool that would help create mindfulness and an appreciation for all the special moments that surround us.

Weaving Threads of Gratitude can be purchased on Amazon.com and Barnesandnoble.com.

It also makes a perfect gift for those who desire positivity and clarity of purpose.

“Take time to enjoy the view. Don’t sweat the small stuff. Focus on what is important in life and try not to let time dictate the pace of the journey.” ~ Judith Cosby

With the release of Spirit Threads on November 11,
2020 it became apparent that a new journey had commenced for me.  I had a very successful book launch on
November 30th which not only introduced Spirit Threads but catapulted
Threads into a new level.  I had a
book signing at Barnes and Noble Pittsfield, MA on December 6th, and
another book signing at Fitness First on December 18th.  What I did not expect was that I would obtain
new readers that felt compelled to read both books, choosing Threads as
their starting point.

With that knowledge, I have now begun a new exciting
avenue!  Since the release of both books
I have been kindly invited to three book club meetings.  All three clubs chose Threads as their
starting point and had asked me to attend as their guest speaker.  These are people I am meeting for the first
time that embraced the books and welcomed the author.  This new venture has made this journey so
much more than anything I could have ever imagined.  Sitting with these avid readers, sharing
their thoughts and their own experiences has really amplified my desire to
continue this writing journey and opening up a door of offering my time to attend
these book clubs.  I feel so fortunate to
have recognized this dream, opened myself up to this new experience that has
led me to meet so many incredible people.

I welcome the opportunity to attend more book club meetings
that choose Threads or Spirit Threads as their book of choice.  Please feel free to contact me and hopefully
we can make it happen!

October 22, 2019

Well, it has been several months since my last blog and I can’t believe how much has transpired since that date!  The Green Plum book signing in July was an absolute blast but it just kept getting better from there. Next up was a book signing at Barnes and Noble in Kingston, NY on August 17, then one at the Barnes and Noble in Enfield, CT on October 5 and finally closing out with a booth at the Harvest festival in Agawam, MA on October 19.

All of these events have brought about such an interesting thread to my life.  Meeting new readers and hearing them share their own stories and journies has been life altering. Every time I don’t believe this journey could get any better, a new opportunity arises!

I will be doing my finale Threads tour on Saturday, November 9th at Cooper’s in Agawam, MA in celebration of the Christmas Prelude Event held there.  How wonderful to finish this wonderful book signing adventure in one of my absolute favorite stores.

But it gets even better……

I am so very excited to announce my new book, Spirit Threads, will be released on November 11, 2019!!

“With a story that spans four seasons, Spirit Threads is the follow-on to Judith’s debut novel, Threads. In this new memoir, she chronicles a personal journey of love and spirituality, and how the challenges of illness and hope have added their threads to the tapestry of her life. As the seasons change, she discovers how her relationship with the wild red fox named Reddy Girl teaches her that inner strength is just as formidable as outer strength, that hope and faith are required to survive the darkest days, and most importantly, that we are never truly alone.”

Spirit Threads launch party is scheduled for Saturday, November 30, 2019, at Cooper’s in Agawam, MA!!! I am so very blessed and excited to be embraced by so many wonderful readers and businesses that believe in supporting local independent authors.

More to come on my new book, Spirit Threads, in the upcoming weeks!!!

August 7, 2019

During this past month I have had such a wonderful time attending my book signings and meeting with new readers! On July 19th I participated in a Meet the Author Night at The Green Plum in Newburyport, MA. It was a fantastic night meeting and speaking with people from all over the northern shore as well as those from New Hampshire. THREADS did very well in that shop and the ambiance was second to none. The Green Plum will continue to sell THREADS in their shop and we are currently planning a fall themed event! I continue to pinch myself each time these wonderful experiences expand the reach of my book.

Also, I was able to visit Primavera Newport on Bowen’s Wharf in Newport, RI and see first hand how my book looked on display in that store. It is such a thrill to see it there, in my favorite store on the wharf, being embraced by all those shoppers from all over the world. Such an exciting time for THREADS.

I am currently preparing for my first book signing at a Barnes and Noble! I will be at the Barnes and Noble in Kingston, NY on August 17th! Each meeting with new readers in different locations has brought about such an awesome feeling of success for me. I really enjoy talking with all the people who come to visit and purchase THREADS. It is amazing how many connect with its storyline and message.

The Fall has a whole another group of events to look forward to and I can’t wait to share them with all of you. I am also in the beginning stages of preparing for another book release TBA! Please visit this blog from time to time to keep up to date on all the most recent news and events.

July 2, 2019

Since May, THREADS has had a major surge in exciting news! On May 11th, Re-Inspired, a beautiful shop located in Southwick, MA hosted a wonderful Mother’s Day event, a book signing. It was well received and they did an incredible job with refreshments and ambiance! They are now selling my book to the public! Then on June 24th The Agawam Public Library in Agawam, MA hosted an author’s night called READLocal. It was very well received by the community and I was one of 10 authors who participated in this event.

But it did not end there! On July 1st THREADS was invited to be sold in a dream establishment! Primavera Newport located on Bowen’s Wharf in Newport, RI will now be carrying THREADS! My book is home and where I have always hoped it would be sold.

UPCOMING EVENTS

Now there are more wonderful upcoming events are on this summer horizon! The Green Plum Vintage Goods Shop in Newburyport, MA will be selling THREADS in their lovely store, but they are hosting a huge book signing event Friday Evening, July 19th, from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. It is as if the magic of the book keeps expanding its seams and weaving into other places all over New England.

We look forward to seeing you there!

“Paradise has never been about places. It exists in moments. In connection. In flashes across time.” ~ Victoria Erickson

February 11, 2019

When I started to write THREADS and was intrigued by the connections of my life and the avenues those interactions led me, I began to open up a whole new level of belief in myself.  In understanding these connections, I had more faith in my choices, more acceptance in my failures and more enjoyment in my life’s moments throughout the journey.

When the date of publication approached with excitement, I embraced all the uncertainties with a level of faith I had never enjoyed before.  I was unsure if it would be received positively, or if it would even be deemed a success.  The only thing I innately knew was that my book would lead me to many wonderful people.  And it did.

THREADS is not only sold on AMAZON and BARNES AND NOBLE but has now been invited to be sold in two very successful local businesses.  My book signing was also a huge success because of yet another business that opened its doors to support it.  As THREADS popularity grew, so did the prospects that surrounded it.  So many supportive people came forth with ideas, help, and directions to lead it to yet more fruitful gains.

As the journey continues, I am so grateful for the opportunity to meet so many wonderful and engaging people.  I revel in the conversations shared by those with similar experiences as the stories within the pages of THREADS.  I keep my heart and mind open to the endless possibilities before me if only I dare to have faith and believe in the power of connection.

“Too often we only examine our life in retrospect.  We us the benefit of hindsight to contemplate our past motivations and glean meaning from our previous struggles.  For many, the patterns of our lives appear as only random zigzags of emotion and knowledge.  But what if armed with the simple understanding that our lives are a complex and beautiful tapestry of experiences and connections, we could learn how to alter our paths and better understand our own unique purpose.”

~ An excerpt from Threads by Judith Cosby

What gets you through the winter? For me, its sitting in my office, snuggled on my favorite chair with my comfy throw, hot mug of tea or cocoa, my comfort buddy hanging by my side and a really good book!

Winter in New England can feel long and oh, so cold, but there is an element of "home" that I often feel during this season.  I tend to stay inside more, nestled within my comfort zones and usually spending more “me” time.  My furry family, my dogs and cats,  will usually hunker in with me and enjoy the quiet time this winter season brings.  Inevitably, I tend to find some favorite books or articles I have been saving for just this occasion.  I am definitely a summer girl, loving the vibe the warm months bring, but I have become acutely aware of the benefits of winter.  A warm, hearty meal, a tranquil spot and the creature comforts that come from these winter months.

"Winter is the time for comfort, for good food and warmth, for the touch of a friendly hand and for a talk beside the fire: it is time for home." ~ Edith Sitwell

Why not give yourself the chance to snuggle up with a book that will warm the heart and inspire the soul?  My book THREADS is just that book.  An introspective read.  A memoir that walks you through the moments of life that fulfill the heart and invigorate the soul.  Consider adding this memoir to your list of books to read this winter.

 Warm Regards,

Judy

DECEMBER 30, 2018

As the close of 2018 is upon us and the new year awaits us I can’t help but reflect on all the positives and negatives of this past year. In doing so, I can’t help but smile. My year started with my youngest daughter’s relapse from remission from her serious illness, her surgery and tough treatments that followed to get her back where she needed to be. It meant many trips to Boston, a 2 hour drive each way from our home, and monitoring her blood counts weekly. But within those moments of sadness and angst were moments of bonding and empowerment as she regained her health and her life. It also meant that our family was able to gain our normal momentum back and enjoy the quieter times together. Our time spent at our favorite spot, Newport, RI, also solidified our gratefulness and appreciation of the simple pleasures of experiencing life in a slower pace. As those moments came into play, I re-focused my initial goal and really fought through the things that could have held me back spiritually, emotionally, and physically. My drive and support from my family enabled me to push through to my goal and see my dream come true. My inspirational memoir published and launched! I was able to hold this tangible object and feel the pages and see the prose before me, instead of on a computer screen or floating about in my head waiting to be born. With that release, I experienced invitations to speak, an incredibly successful book signing and an outpouring of love and support from so many in my life. A George Bailey moment from “It’s a Wonderful Life.”

Christmas 2018 brought about a sense of peace as I was surrounded by my beautiful family. Improved health, personal success, and a complete love of family was so abundant this year. Gratefulness and Thankfulness at it’s finest.

Now I prepare to see what the new year has planned for me. I hope for further success with THREADS and possibly a second book in the works! But for me now, I embrace the journey and enjoy the ride!

“Dreams are illustrations…from the book your soul is writing about you.” ~ Marsha Norman

Happy New Year!!!

DECEMBER 5, 2018

Well, it has been almost 1 month since the release of my first book THREADS!  Time has certainly flown quickly and has given me an extraordinary month of experiences.  I was invited as a guest speaker at a local Junior High School to speak about becoming an author to several English classes as well as The Young Author’s Club members.  I also have received so many wonderful messages of support and congratulations from family, friends, and readers of THREADS.

I have enjoyed every moment of feedback from my readers, whether it be their favorite Thread’s Chapter, the connections that have been made since reading THREADS or simply viewing the pictures taken and shared on my FACEBOOK BUSINESS PAGE (Judith Cosby) of my book in various places within the homes of those who purchased the book.

That is what THREADS is all about.  It is about the connections we make, the meaningful moments in time that we experience and the idea that we all have the potential to design a better life.  Empowerment and reflection.

Another milestone in this first month of publication is that THREADS has received a 5 star rating and 12 wonderful reviews on AMAZON.  It is now also available through BARNES AND NOBLE.  Please consider leaving a review on AMAZON, GOODREADS, or BARNES AND NOBLE or simply rating the book.

Lastly, I am very excited about one more milestone to end this first month of firsts!  I will be having a MEET THE AUTHOR/BOOK SIGNING on Thursday evening, December 6, 2018, at Casa Di Lisa in Agawam, MA.  It is a casual open house event held from 7:00 – 8:30 PM.  Books will be available for sale at this event.  Please feel free to stop by and say hello and bring your book or simply purchase a book and I will be happy to inscribe and sign!

The Christmas Season is upon us and if you are looking for a meaningful and thought provoking gift please consider purchasing THREADS through AMAZON or BARNES AND NOBLE.

 Happy Holidays!

Judy

“I like to compare the holiday season with the way a child listens to their favorite story.  The pleasure is in the familiar way the story begins, the anticipation of familiar turns it takes, the familiar moments of suspense, and the familiar climax and ending.”  ~ Fred Rogers.

November 13, 2018

Threads has been released and it has been quite the week!

Threads is primarily about connection. It is about the people, places and things that come into our life and how they touch us. It is meant to help us think about our own journey and the paths that we have chosen. Although we all experience the positive and negative aspects of life, it is how we approach both and use these events to our benefit. When envisioning our own personal threads, it is important to find ways that help us feel inspired and empowered. Threads is a journey of self awareness and stresses that it is not the monumental moments that will strongly impact our lives, but the stitches made when we were least aware that will shine the brightest within our masterpiece.

As for my first week of officially becoming an author, it was epic! I was asked to speak to The Young Author’s Club at a local Junior High as a newly published author. To be in a room filled with creative young minds eager to understand the process of writing and publishing was a golden moment within my own tapestry. It was a spectacular thread sewn within this new journey of mine.

I invite you to read my book Threads and experience the various threads, or stories, that have represented my life. Come laugh, cry, ponder and relate to all the people that have entered into our lives and how we are all connected.

November 4, 2018

This is a huge week for me. This Wednesday, November 7, I become a first time published author. My book Threads is cause for celebration for me personally because it has completely gotten me to step out of my safe zone and put myself out into the world. This journey of self awareness has been cathartic and empowering all in one leap of faith.

I hope those that view this blog would welcome the opportunity to read Threads and gain spiritual inspiration through self reflection.

“Too often we only examine our life in retrospect. We use the benefit of hindsight to contemplate our past motivations and glean meaning from our previous struggles. For many, the patterns of our lives appear as only random zigzags of emotion and knowledge. But what if armed with the simple understanding that our lives are a complex and beautiful tapestry of experiences and connections. We could learn how to alter our paths and better understand our own unique purpose.” ~ Judith Cosby
